ABOUT ERIC:
Eric Davenport, a USPTR Certified Instructor, has been teaching tennis for nearly 30 years. He started teaching group lessons for the Portland Tennis Center and, by the age of 18, he coached the Junior Davis and Wightman Cup Teams. He continued teaching tennis in the San Francisco Bay Area and throughout college. He has now been teaching full time at Vermont Canyon for many years.
His approach to teaching tennis is finding what works best for each individual person. He does this by analysis and talking one-on-one with his clients. He asks them individually to tell him what their goals are and assesses their strokes. To him the sign of a good teacher is one who enhances what you have, rather than change everything about your game. Drills and match play are incorporated into almost every individual or group lesson. Eric’s ultimate goal is to make sure every lesson is a fun, dynamic, creative and challenging experience.

ABOUT ADAM:
Good day and thank you for taking the time to consider me as a great fit for your tennis needs! I have been teaching kids and adults of all ages and levels this wonderful and lifelong sport for 25 years. I attended the Bollettieri Academy in Florida where I was a member of the USTA National Championship Team.
I am USPTR certified and have taught at several Country Clubs and tennis programs in Los Angeles County. I have been with LA Tennis since 1998. I am always voted the most favorite Pro by kids, adults, and parents. I teach private, semiprivate, clinics and group lessons.
I am a very supportive, patient, and encouraging teacher with a keen eye to detail. I am able to help each student improve in a way that is best suited to their own unique style, level and ability!
Every person I teach has different needs, and they all have their own strengths and weaknesses. So, I don't teach the same method to every student. Instead, I am able to teach and customize the best method and approach to what that specific student needs in order to improve quicker!
I look forward to hearing from you and seeing you on the court! :)
